(1) Great Multi-Dimensional Therapeutic/Developmental Toy - I bought this for my handsome little guy, who has a host of developmental and fine motor challenges, because this is the next step up I am working on with him. What I think is neat about this toy, from the developmental standpoint, is that it combines fine motor, shape sorting, puzzles, and problem solving all into one. It's kind of like a wooden version of Tetris on pegs. It's a super cool idea for helping kiddos learn the number of ways different shapes can be combined to form squares.
For us, this is one we'll be working on for a while, but he's already showing interest, and we're breaking it down level by level for him, because he needs things broken into smaller pieces like that when he's learning new skills.
Something I've noticed about this, and really like given it's usefulness as a therapy toy, is that I can't smell any paint fumes on this sucker. Some of the painted wooden toys we've purchased have had some fumes, and that's harder on kiddos with sensory issues. So at least when it comes to the one we got, the smell is very neutral.

(2) Thoroughly Satisfied - Our 2 year old recently started gaining interest in puzzles and quickly jumped from 2 piece to 12 piece to 24 piece. I wanted to start giving him more dimensional challenges and this looked like something that might interest him without being overwhelming. He loves it! I put one piece on it the first time and he did the rest. The puzzle stays interesting and challenging because it's possible to have incorrect pieces left over for the top layer - error control if you will. Quality is satisfactory for the price. Thoroughly satisfied with this purchase.
